ARGEMELA Mining Lease
40’s
Proven mining activity from this decade onward (open pit and underground mining).
50’s
Mining activity increased with open pit and underground mining (EMAL-BT&W) to produce tin concentrate. 150 tonnes of SnO2 produced during this period.
70’s
DGGM establishes a work plan. Cartography and diamond drilling (1.523m) are executed. Confirmed mineralized structures at depth.
2011-2016
During this period, field and office studies were carried out: compilation and validation of previous studies, execution of two diamond drilling campaigns, petrographic and metallurgical studies and a pre-feasibility study.
2021
Signing of the Contract for the concession of the Mining Lease between NEOMINA and the Portuguese State, thus becoming vested with the rights provided by law, inherent to the condition of the Mining Lease Owner.
